Blond-haired beauty Kairis Leinus Ulp in a casual T-shirt shined among the members of the FISU executive committe yesterday most of whom were men and wore formally. Sitting in the lobby of the Wuzhou Guest House the 1.75m-Estonian lady talked gently about her impression of Shenzhen country’s plan for the 26th Universiade in Shenzhen in 2011. It was the first time that Ulp had been here. Ulp 33 was touched by the city at the first sight “It is so impressive” Ulp from Estonia’s university city of Tartu was amazed to see so many skyscrapers in Shenzhen though she had learned a lot about the city in Shenzhen’s bidding material for the 2011 Universiade. Before she arrived in Shenzhen she had known that Shenzhen was a city full of vigor at 27 and 45 percent of Shenzheners love sports. Ulp had been to Universiade since 1995. “In 2011 Estonia will send a 100-member delegation to Shenzhen” she said. For a country with a population of only 1.5 million it was really a big delegation she added.(刘思敏译)
