KUALA LUMPUR, Oct. 28 (Xinhua) — China beat Myanmar again in their second encounter in the 2010 World Cup qualifying, with 4-0 here on Sunday, after it scored a 7-0 victory over Myanmar earlier this month in Foshan, Guangdong Province of China.

China won the match with frequent and overwhelming attacks against Myanmar’s goal in the first half of the match, which kicked off at 4 p.m. in the Kuala Lumpur Football Association Stadium at Cheras here.

Wu Weian opened the scoring for China in the 13th minute. About two minutes later, his teammate Liu Jian made it 2-0.

New China coach Vladimir Petrovic started the match with most of the first-choice players on the bench but they still managed a 4-0 lead after the first half.

China apparently relaxed their attacks after the interval and some players were replaced by the coach. But Myanmar failed to score a goal even though they created several chances.
