    VII. Confidentiality

    7.1 In order to protect the Universiade mascot in the entire world, all participants of the Design Contest shall strictly abide by the following confidentiality rules. Any violation of Article 7.3 shall weaken the value of the mascot design schemes.

    7.2 During the creation process and the submission of the works, the participants shall strictly perform the liability regulated in Article 7.3 in terms of the works (and the originality). The term shall be from the creation of the mascot design scheme to the release of the final fixed mascot by the Executive Board.

    If the participant is a single legal entity (or a group containing one or two legal entities), each member of the legal entity that takes part in the creation and adjustment of the works, shall abide by the confidentiality liability in Article 7.3.

    7.3 The performance of the confidentiality liability by the participants requires that, during the term of the above-mentioned confidentiality liability, the participants and people taking part in the creation shall never disclose any content of the works in any form to any third party (except for the designated person by the Executive Board and the Appraisal Committee), including but not limited to the design scheme and the originality of the mascot.

    7.4 During the Design Contest, the Executive Board reserves the right to cancel the qualifications of the works for contest of whom violates the confidentiality liability in Article 7.3.

    7.5 If any damages are caused to the Executive Board due the violation of the confidentiality liability in Article 7.3 by a participant, the Executive Board has the right to require the participant to compensate for the damages arising from the violation.
