IPR training launched in Longgang
Longgang District, where the Universiade Center and the Universiade main venues are located, will see many events in the future and thus will be a concern of the Universiade intellectual property protection. At the 248 – day countdown to the 26th Shenzhen Summer Universiade, the Universiade Executive Office launched a professional training on the Universiade intellectual property at Longgang Division of Shenzhen Market Supervision and Administration, December 7. Primary law enforcement officers from Intellectual Property Section, Inspection Section and Market Section of Longgang Division and from 12 market supervisions under the jurisdiction took the training.
The Legal Affairs Department of the Universiade Executive Office offered the training on issues such as legal basis of the Universiade intellectual property protection and rights situation of the Universiade intellectual property, manifestations of infringement of intellectual property and the legal consequences, the Universiade logo permission of sponsors and licensing businesses, cautions of the Universiade intellectual property, and how government departments cooperate to promote together the Universiade intellectual property protection.
Primary law enforcement officers are expected to strengthen their awareness of protecting the Universiade intellectual property through the training, so as to reduce infringement and create a sound legal environment for the upcoming Universiade.
