A flamingo feeds its chick at Shenzhen Safari Park. The chick hatched at the park Friday. Flamingos usually breed in June and July and it is rare for them to breed in winter. Keepers said light was kept on throughout the night this year to keep away predators such as owls. They suspected that this could have led the flamingo to eat and breed at night. Li Musheng
