The chess matches of the 26th Universiade to be held in 2011

4. Competition introduction:
The game is played on a square chessboard with 64 squares arranged in an eight-by-eight square. The dark yellow check is called”black check”,and the light yellow check is called ‘white check’，the chess is moved inside these checks by players. There’re thirty-two chesses, , each player (one controlling the white pieces, the other controlling the black pieces) controls sixteen pieces: one king, one queen, two rooks, two knights, two bishops, and eight pawns.
In the official competition, the tridimensional pieces are used in playing chess
