    IX. Bonus

    9.1 Among the ten selected works for the final contest, the winner of the determinate works will obtain a once-off bonus of 200,000 Yuan (before taxation) from the Executive Board, while the owners of the other nine works will get a once-off bonus of 10,000 Yuan (before taxation) from the Executive Board.

    9.2 The participants shall undertake and pay the expenses of taxation for the above-mentioned bonus in accordance with laws and regulations in relevant countries (including but not limited to China) and regions. 

    X. General Articles for Taking Part in the Contest

    10.1 The participants shall undertake all liabilities for the contest independently, and has no right to get any compensation concerning the participation in the contest from the Executive Board or the Contest Office. The participants shall fully accept all the articles in the Rules and the attachments in taking part in the Design Contest and each phase of the contest.

    10.2 The Executive Board reserves the right to select the Universiade mascot not from the submitted works, to select the mascot or not, and to cancel, postpone or repeat relevant procedures without undertaking the liabilities to pay the participants any remuneration or compensation arising from the above-mentioned reasons.

    10.3 All articles in the Rules are substantial. Violation of any of the articles may result in the cancellation of the qualifications.

    10.4 If the works is submitted by a group, all members of the group shall undertake joint legal liability for the works.

    10.5 Any professional design institution that does not legally obtain the qualifications for independent legal person shall take part in the Design Contest and sign corresponding papers as a natural person.

    10.6 The minute after the delivery of the works for contest, the participants are deemed to agree and accept all the articles regulated in the Rules and its attachments;

    10.7 In case that the applicant do not have full capacity for civil conduct, the guardian of the applicant shall sign in the signature column following the applicant for all the papers needed signature and indicate his/her status as a guardian.
