Liang Daoxing inspects on Archery Championship preparations
On the afternoon of September 22, Vice President of the Universiade Executive Committee and Director-general of the Executive Office Liang Daoxing took an inspection on the preparations for the Eighth World University Archery Championship, Silver Lake Resort Hotel, which is the official hotel for the Archery Championship. He also expressed his heartfelt thanks to working staff here who had to give up their holidays for the Championship. Deputy Director of the Executive Office Ke Gangming and respective chiefs of the Executive Office departments like Logistics Dept, Security and Safeguard Dept, Registration and Consultation Dept, Finance and Audit Dept, External Relations Dept and Volunteers Dept paid a special visit for company and attended the coordination meeting.
Liang Daoxing came to archers’ registration desk, the registration center, security channel, the meal area for referees and staff, where he specifically asked about services to the participating archers including transportation, registration and arrival and departure, and accommodation. Liang was very satisfier with what he saw about the Archery Championship preparations. At the same time, he didn’t forget to extend his gratitude to all the staff working for the Championship here. Liang confided, although the Championship is only a testament to our effort for the coming Universiade, all the preparations is meant to be tested. He stressed that every unit should take it very seriously, by paying close attention to it and studying the problems arising. Plus, through their services at the Championship, every section should strengthen communication and cooperation, to accumulate working experience for both the Universiade venue operations and the venue teams being built and the venue operation plans being tailed. All their work for the Championship is expected to pave the way for the forthcoming 2011 Universiade.
