Shenzhen – Hong Kong cooperation of clearance for the Eight World University Archery Championship
The Eighth World University Archery Championship will commence from September 24 – 26. To ensure a fluid arrival and departure services to the 26 participating countries and regions, a “coordination meeting on Shenzhen – Hong Kong cooperation of clearance for the Eight World University Archery Championship” was held at the command center of Shenzhen Bay Port Office, September 15. Deputy Secretary-General of Shenzhen Municipal Government and First Deputy Director of the Executive Office Huang Guoqiang attended the meeting and made important work arrangements.
At the meeting, chiefs from Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Guangdong, Hong Kong Immigration Department, Hong Kong Customs, Hong Kong Health Department, Hong Kong Police Force and Hong Kong Transport Department, and leaders of Shenzhen Foreign Affairs Office, Shenzhen Port Office, Shenzhen Customs, Shenzhen General Station of Exit and Entry Frontier Inspection, and Shenzhen Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, as well as respective leaders of the Universiade Executive Office departments attentively listened to the briefing on the Archery Championship and reports on the arrival and departure preparations. Apart from exchanging views about and having in – depth discussions on planning and deployment of land crossings’ customs clearance services related to the Archery Championship, as well as Shenzhen – Hong Kong Cooperation mechanism for the Universiade arrival and departure services, they also made clear of coordinating division of each unit. All this has not only paved a way for a successful arrival and departure services for the Archery Championship, but also impelled the Universiade arrival and departure cooperation between Shenzhen and Hong Kong.
As told, there will be FISU officials, archers, coaches and team officials from 26 countries and regions coming to the current session of World University Archery Championship. In light of the arrival and departure information provided by the participants, the Championship’s arrival and departure work involves multiple ports, a variety of client groups, and matters like a variety of customs patterns. As a testament to the Universiade preparations, it is actually a rehearsal of the Universiade games – time clearance and arrival and departure work cooperation between Shenzhen and Hong Kong .
