Foreign students at the opening ceremony of the new semester at the College of International Exchange at Shenzhen University (SZU) yesterday. Altogether 460 foreign students from 51 countries, including 100 South Koreans, 24 Russians and 20 Americans, were enrolled at the college for Chinese study for the fall semester, about 10 percent more than last semester. The college expects to have more than 600 foreign students this year because more will arrive during the first month of the semester.
