Construction projects for the universiade help increase construction enterprise tax in Longgang

With the 2011 Universiade coming near, construction projects for the universiade, such as the Universiade venues, Metro Line 3, renovation of Shenhui Road, and extension of Shuiguan Express Way, are being underway, which greatly help increase construction enterprise tax in Longgang District. According to statistics,the first half of this year, Local Tax Bureau of Longgang District has levied construction enterprise tax of 751million Yuan RMB, an increase of as much as 10%.

The reporter was told that based on standardization and informatization, Local Tax Bureau of Longgang District has been adopting the following four measures, so as to aquire information,supersvise tax fund,and increase construction enterprise tax. The first, Local Tax Bureau has created an individual file for each project, on which information is showed specifically including building cost of projects, the information of development firms, the information of constructors, the invoiced specifications, and project taxes lists. The second, in order to learn about the construction advancment, have in hand the information of the payment of engineering funds, and urge constructors to pay the taxes in time,they set up a rule of regular inspection. The third, they build a management information base for tax fund, so that they can know each project’s information including establishment, invitation for bid, starting construction, being under construction, final completion, acceptance check, final calculation and taxes payment,stopping any tax loophole. The Fourth, they keep an eye on any project being built and to be built in this district,and tentatively build a network to supervise construction enterprise tax by exchanging information promptly with Development and Reform Commission, Planning Bureau, Land and Resources and House Property Bureau, Construction Bureau and Maintenance Department of the Shenzhen City.
