Students advice on promoting the Universiade


 



On the morning of July 24, Chi Zhe, Deputy Chief TV Broadcasting Departmaent of the Executive Office for the 26th Universiade, had a conversation with students correspondents from Beijing University Media Union, exchanging opinions on broadcasting large-scale Games via TV and the media in motion for the next Universiade.

As s senior practitioner in the line of media, Chi Zhe told the students present about how he felt when participating in the Beijing Olympics. He introduced about the TV broadcasting in Beijing Olympics and suggested what Shenzhen can learn from the Beijing Games. Chi Zhe said, “The Shenzhen Universiade is an important opportunity to publize Shenzhen City in front of the whole world. At the following Universiade, only only will we do a good job in broadcasting the events, bu also we will make every effect to promote the city to let more people know about the city.”

Encougraged by Chi Zhe, the students correspondents also gave their advice from students’ of view. Li Yihan, who served the media during the last Olympics as a volunteer, said that in order to cover a Universiade of the students’ own, it is necessary to let the unversity’s media play a role in covering the events. He Tao, another young guy, also thought, to promote the Universiade further on Campuses, the Shenzhen Universiade can borrow from the Shanghai EXPO the idea that the Executive Office can consider setting aside some quotas of registered reporter for stududents. Wang Qing, from a spectator’s point of view, said that during the TV broadcasting, the tickets for the seats which cameras occupy should be considered.
