Shenzhen to learn from Guangzhou Asian Games
Dec 26, Vice Shenzhen Mayor Zhang Wen and Vice President of the Universiade Executive Committee and Director-general of the Executive Office Liang Daoxing came to Guangzhou to inspect games – time decision-making and commanding system at the Guangzhou Asiad and Para Asiad. Shenzhen is going to learn from the Games in meeting foreign guests, security and safeguard, traffic service, medical and heath care service, emergency response system building and volunteering.
Deputy Secretary of Guangzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor Wan Qingliang, Vice Guangzhou Mayor Xu Ruisheng and other leaders attended the conversazione. Leaders of General Headquarters of the Guangzhou Asian Games and respective departments detailed the Asiad preparations to the chiefs of nine of Shenzhen bureaus and leaders of departments of the Universiade Executive Office. After listening to the introduction of the Asiad Organizing Committee, Zhang Wen commented the experience with the successful Asiad is of great help for Shenzhen to stage a “more successful, spectacular and influential” Summer Universiade. Wan Qingliang said the flaw at the Asian Games is a lesson to Guangzhou but a very good reference to Shenzhen. “A fall into the pit, a gain in your wit, Guangzhou is willing to help Shenzhen avoid repeating the mistakes”.
