Liang Daoxing investigates Youth League

Dec 13, Vice President of the Executive Committee and Director-general of the Universiade Executive Office Liang Daoxing paid an investigation at Shenzhen Communist Youth League Committee, having a conversazione on the preparations of the Universiade volunteers. Full – time Deputy Directors of the Universiade Executive Office Zhao Guanghua and Liu Pingsheng, and respective leaders of the Executive Office departments such as General Office, International Relations & Cooperation Dept, Media and Communications Dept, Large – Scale Event Planning Dept, Logistics Dept, Volunteers Dept, Legal Affairs Dept, Accreditation and Consultation Dept, and venue operation offices of the playing areas attended the investigation.
Secretary of the Shenzhen Communist Youth League Committee Liu Yan, Deputy Secretaries Zhang Zhihua and Zhao Jia, and Associate Counsel Qin Binggeng briefed the preparations of volunteers. They said they will throw themselves into preparations of volunteers including recruitment of volunteers, training, promotion of volunteerism and specific voluntary services.
Liang Daoxing expressed his gratitude to Communist Youth League Committee for their sustained support to the Universiade. He said, after visiting the Shanghai Expo and Guangzhou Asian Games, he in particular realized the importance of volunteers, who are actually a striking “City ID” of a country or a city. He reiterated we should perfect the organization of volunteers’ preparations, working teams’ building and funds. Additionally, requirements for the volunteers should be cleared, volunteers’ preparations have to be combined with playing areas’ preparations and venue preparations, volunteers’ training programs need to be sketched out, and training is set to be in full play.
