Seminar of Universiade doping control held
Dec 15, a seminar of Universiade doping control was held, Meeting Room 1212 of the Universiade Executive Office. The seminar was hosted by Chief of the Executive Office Competition Department Mai Wuqiang. Head of the Office of Planning and Management of State Physical Culture Administration Anti-Doping Agency (CHINADA) and Chief Doping Control Officer of Beijing Olympics Chen Zhiyu gave the lecture. Chief of the CHINADA Du Lijun, Deputy Director Zhao Jian, Deputy Head of the Office of Planning and Management Yang Xiaoye, Deputy Chief of the Executive Office Competition Department and Chief of the doping control center Zhu Yang and respective leaders of other departments attended the workshop.
Starting with the history of doping control, Chen Zhiyu explained the importance and special political significance of doping control. With vivid instances and his rich experience with doping control, he helped all the people present know about the knowledge of doping easily. Moreover, by explaining the achievements and work experience with the doping control at the Beijing Olympics, and analyzing the problems during the process, he introduced the basic flowchart of analeptic inspection. Then he intensely stated the correlation between every service and the doping control. Meanwhile, he predicted the problems related to other services which will likely appear in the process of the Universiade doping control and as well offered corresponding resolution and points for attention. Afterwards, all working staff had a warm discussion about analeptic inspection work. The entire atmosphere of the seminar was relaxing, in which all working staff benefited a lot.
Later on, leaders and experts of the CHINADA had a conversazione with staff of the Executive Office Competition Department and doping control center about next – stage doping inspection preparations and gave many valuable suggestions. Undoubtedly, all this is of great help to stage a successful Universiade.
