City market supervision bureau officials inspect the food section of a supermarket in Nanshan District yesterday, ahead of the Chinese Lunar New Year. The bureau set up a number of inspection teams, headed by bureau chief Xu Youjun and vice director Guo Chi, to visit supermarkets and restaurants across the city to address food safety issues for the Spring Festival holidays which start next Wednesday.
