Jan 14, the handover meeting of the Universiade temporarily – built venues and temporary facilities was held at the Executive Office meeting room. Respected leaders of Shenzhen Development and Reform Commission, the Public Works Bureau, Longgang government, Nanshan government and Yantian government, with chiefs of the Executive Office departments attended the meeting, which was presided by Deputy Director of the Executive Office Ke Gangming.
At the meeting, the Executive Office officially handed over the construction work of the temporarily – built venues and the temporary facilities (inside the red line) to agent constructors. By means of the handover meeting, the Executive Office called up every builder to join hands to proceed with those projects’ construction, in order to ensure the Games’ opening as scheduled. As told, according to the working schedule of the Executive Office Venue Management and Sports Department, the temporarily – built venues are set to be built and put into use by June 30, 2011.
Liang Daoxing pointed out, since the Universiade construction needs every unit’s close collaboration and joint efforts, the Government and Organizing Committee hope that agent builders can give their best shot to the construction of temporarily – built venues and temporary facilities in the 200 – day run up to the Games.
