Shenzhen delegation inspects Guangzhou Asiad power supply work

On November 23, a Shenzhen delegation, headed by Deputy Director of the Universiade Executive Office Ke Gangming and Deputy Director of Shenzhen Power Supply Bureau Wu Yuning, was inspecting at Guangzhou Power Supply Bureau. The chiefs of respective Executive Office departments such as Venue Management Department, Opening and Closing Ceremony Department, Logistics Department and leaders of the Universiade office of Shenzhen Power Supply Bureau attended the investigation.

Deputy Director of Guangzhou Power Supply Bureau Gong Jianping, Assistant Chief Engineers Xu Bing and Zhang Chao had a conversazione with Shenzhen delegation. At the conversazione, Guangzhou Power Supply Bureau seconded Shenzhen’s early preparations of the Universiade power supply. Then they introduced in details to the Shenzhen guests about their experience with the following issues: the way they communicate with the Organizing Committee of the Asian Games and their operating mechanism, support duties to important power users and management interface divisions, construction, tests, and supply standards of interior electricity facilities of venues and important users, temporary power supply programs of the opening and closing ceremonies and in games time, constitution of venue supporting teams and ways of operating, construction of games – time venue supporting and command system and ways of operating, the formulation and implementation of emergency response plans. Guangzhou Power Supply Bureau reminded us of the importance of setting up as soon as possible an experts group majoring in power supply after they briefed on the key role of the experts group in the whole Asiad electricity supply work.

After the rap session, in the company of the Guangzhou Power Supply Bureau staff, the Shenzhen delegation toured Haixinsha — the Guangzhou Asiad Opening and Closing ceremonies site and Olympic Sports Center, leaning about the electricity supply. The delegation’s last stop was 220kV Aolin converting station.
