Liang Daoxing investigates MMC
September 7, Liang Daoxing, Vice President of the Executive Committee and Director-General of the Universiade Executive Office, was investigating the Main Operations Center(MOC) and Technical Operations Center(TOC) Integration Labotary and the PC Factory at the Main Media Center(MMC) in Longgang, . EO Deputy Director-General Ke Gangming and respective chiefs of the Executive Office departments such as Information and Technology Department, Competition Department, Venue Operations Office, and leaders of China Telecom (Shenzhen Branch) and Information Center of the State Administration of Physical Culture were also on the spot.
Mr. Liang paid a visit to the Main Operations Center, Technical Operations Center, the PC Factory, equipment room and the ILAB at MMC and discussed with staff on issues like game management, event monitoring, troubleshooting and system network. Liang reiterated, as the 2011 Universiade approaching, it raises higher requirements on information technology support. He hoped that information technology preparations for the Universiade can be better in all respects, helping to stage a “Hi-tech and digital Universiade”.
