June 30, the cyclists held the Universiade Cultural Forum for the 2009 Universiade cycling at Zhongshan University, Guangzhou City.
June 29, All cylists covered up to 235 kilometers in one day, the longest daily distance during the whole tour. It was in the same day that riders went through seven rain storms in succession, in which a few of them fell down because of the wet paths. However, helping each other, they never stopped moving ahead.
Afterwards, the Universiade Cultural Forum was held in the Zhongshan University’s Reporting Hall. Mr. Wang Zhi, assistant section head of the Development Department of the executive board addressed the forum. The Cultural Forum, lasting about one and a half hours, plays a very active and favorable part in promoting the Universiade at Zhongshan University.
