Indonesian University Sports University Federation President Supeno Djanali was no doubt the most active visitor yesterday. He called himself “Superman” since his first name is Supeno. Djanali’s affection for China was special, as his beautiful wife’s ancestors were Chinese.

Djanali was the only one who asked journalists to take photos with him several times. While other visitors seemed rather quiet in front of the video camera, Djanali waved to greet the photographer. At the presentation of the University Town, he was the first to raise questions and the first to pose with the students.

Djanali was attracted by the beauty of the Chinese folk music while watching performances at lunch. He imitated the gu zheng (an ancient Chinese musical instrument) players to perform a little bit and kept asking Chinese around him the names of the famous Chinese ancient music. “I will buy such CDs!” said Djanali excitedly.
